Stina Nilsson changed sports on Sunday and since then Expressen has written that three ladies stars are considering leaving the national team training group and today it was confirmed that two men's coaches are leaving their jobs.

These are just a few of the winter's headlines around the cross country team, which started last spring when Rikard Grip was fired as national team manager, Johan Sares left the job as longitudinal manager and Urban Nilsson ended up as the running mate.

SVT Sports expert Anders Blomquist strongly criticizes the ski association.

- I think the whole situation is tragic. It takes a lot of time, this funnel has to be cleaned from the top, he says.

"Haven't avoided anyone"

Ola Strömberg, associate director of the ski association, answers:

- It has probably not escaped anyone that it has been a different situation this year. But we are happy that we have a new length manager in place in Daniel Fåhraeus. And what is important is that he is given time to set up an organization. He's just getting started. I am absolutely confident, and have full confidence that he will succeed. There are good conditions for creating a good organization going forward, I know that, says Strömberg.

What do you say about the information about the ladies?

- I can't really comment on the rumors coming. It is difficult to do so because it is rumors or writings where you do not know what substance they have. But it is important that the riders in the national team feel that they are happy and have good opportunities to develop.

According to Blomquist, there are more factors behind Nilsson and Uusitalo leaving their jobs. Is it true?

- I have not received any other explanation. That's what they have said to me and others. It is a very stressful job to be a national team coach, you are very much out.

"A good enough environment"

Anders Blomquist thinks the situation is "deeply tragic" and he is worried about the future. Strömberg does not agree.

- I think it's sad that he feels that way. But again, I think you have to give Daniel an opportunity to build an organization he believes in. There is plenty of time to build something good. I am sure that the crosswalk will do.

- Actually, some things are very far back, it's been almost a year since it happened.

Do you understand the criticism of unclear leadership and an unhealthy environment?

- No. There are many aspects to the environment, but in general I think the majority would think it is a good enough environment. We always want to get better. It's hard to get an environment where everyone thinks it's perfect.

Finally. You buy nothing of his criticism?

- I don't agree with all the parts he says, and there are a lot of different parts that I don't think are right. It is clear that it has been a different year, and now as we look ahead, we will do the best we can with the new organization. There are probably parts he is right in, but the whole is not so.
