The Algerian Judo Federation said that a former wrestler in this sport died due to infection with the newly created Corona virus "Covid-19".

In a statement published on official radio, on Friday night, Friday, the Federation stated that Osman Tijani died after suffering from the Corona virus.

The Federation continued: "In front of this great victim, the President of the Algerian Federation of Judo, Rachid Laraas, accompanies the members of the Federation's executive office and the entire sports family with sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased."

Othmane Tijani, 47, had been quarantined after he was confirmed to be infected with Corona a few days ago.

The former wrestler comes from the city of El-Berwakia in El-Media State, where he worked in the field of contracting.

Tijani is the ninth death in Algeria due to the Corona virus, which also infected 67 others in the country.
