Kevin Durant confirmed his coronavirus positive Tuesday, one of four cases detected on the Brooklyn Nets roster. "Everyone must be careful, take care of themselves and quarantine. We are going to overcome this," revealed the forward, who this season was unable to debut with his team due to a severe Achilles tendon injury.
According to the website The Athletic, Durant, 31, has not developed any symptoms, although he will scrupulously follow the isolation guidelines imposed by the NBA and under the monitoring of the Nets' medical staff.
The Brooklyn franchise has not reported the identity of its other three infected, although it did advance that one of them does have the classic symptoms of Covid-19. However, the mere fact of having undergone the tests sparked some criticism in the last few hours.
