Several leagues and championships have been canceled or postponed in recent weeks due to the corona virus. Today, Uefa announced that the men's European Championship will be moved to the summer of 2021.

Moving the men's European Championship means that the women's European Championship 2021 is forced to move. Most of it speaks for the ladies to play their European Championships in 2022.

- It feels incredibly boring but at the same time understands that the world is in a situation where you do not really know what leg to stand on, writes Caroline Seger in a text message to SVT Sport.

Caroline Seger, 34, is not entirely satisfied with the men's play in the European Championship 2021.

- This is not the first time we have stepped aside, so we had hoped for another solution. But again, we are in a situation that we have never been in before and we must all be helped to make the best of everything, says the midfielder.

"Chaos Everywhere"

Nilla Fischer agrees with Seger:

- There is chaos everywhere in this regard. But I just hope Uefa would have made the same decision if it had been a women's championship that couldn't be played, Fischer tells SVT Sport.

Håkan Sjöstrand, secretary general of the Swedish Football Association, was a guest of the Sportspegeln Special - sport and corona program, which was broadcast on Tuesday evening. There he answered questions about the criticism from the women's players.

- It's a big and complex issue. It's not about putting things against each other, it's about coming together and finding a good direction of travel ahead, says the union's secretary general Håkan Sjöstrand.
