Friday is the only day of rest during the championships in Chanty-Mansijsk. Then a bus with nurses showed up at the hotel where all the riders and managers live. The nurses put on white coats and face masks and were invited to go to their rooms for medical examination, writes the Swedish Oriental Association.

Swedish riders Magdalena Olsson and Isabel Salén were in their hotel room when two nurses and an interpreter knocked on the door. They examined heart rate, body temperature and asked questions about sore throat and runny next and looked at the throat.

- It seems to be a bigger task than we first thought. We had heard that the Norwegian participant's response was negative, but it still feels positive that they take it safe before the uncertain, says Magdalena Olsson to the Swedish Orientation Association.

The ski orientation European Championships in Chanty-Mansijsk will be decided between March 8-16.
