A professional board member of the Association of Professionals, Hassan Taleb, confirmed that he did not expect to get those many votes in the association elections that took place last Monday. And Talib had achieved a great advantage, with 11 out of 14 votes, which are the votes of the members of the Association's General Assembly. He stressed that he did not have any special program during the nomination period, as much as his concern and slogan was work and cooperation between all for the sake of Emirates ball.
He assured «Emirates Today» that he expected success in the association’s membership, but he did not expect to win all these votes, thanks to the clubs that put their trust in him. He added: I benefited from the popularity of Al-Wasl Club in winning these elections, and I am grateful to the club and all clubs and athletes, and I pledge to everyone that I will be at the best of thought, and work with the rest of the members to reach the Emirates ball in the best way, and to apply professionalism in a way that satisfies everyone. Talib talked about the way he succeeded in collecting 11 votes in the elections, and how he benefited from the name Al Wasl Club, and highlighted the priorities for work in the league during the first period of his term:
