The National Rugby League (NRL) has ordered the suspension of the Top 14 and Pro D2 matches until further notice. A decision that puts French rugby on hold while at the global level, the Wales-Scotland match has been postponed.

The world sports calendar continues to shrink like a panic due to the coronavirus pandemic. The National Rugby League (LNR) acted on Friday the "temporary" and "immediate effect" suspension of the Top 14 and Pro D2, placing the entirety of French rugby dormant, announced the governing body on Friday. The LNR, meeting in an emergency steering committee, decided "unanimously the temporary suspension" of competitions and collective training.

Wales-Scotland postponed

Another announcement: this time from the Welsh Federation (WRU). She has decided to postpone the Six Nations Rugby Tournament between Wales and Scotland scheduled for Saturday. "Although the medical recommendations have not varied, we have decided that it is in the best interests of supporters, players and staff to align themselves with recent measures taken throughout the UK and world sports industry, "said WRU, while the English football championship had suspended its run earlier until early April.
