A report of the Football Association League revealed that the financial returns achieved during the past three years amounted to 400 million dirhams from television broadcasting rights and digital rights for tournaments held under the umbrella of the association.

The report, which the Association's General Assembly received a copy of, on the sidelines of its meeting, the day before yesterday, to elect the members of the Board of Directors, that television broadcasting rights achieved a return of 390 million dirhams in the last three years, in addition to another eight million dirhams from the sale of digital rights to championships Professionals, in the Middle East and North Africa and another two million dirhams for digital sale outside the Middle East in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The report stressed that the Association of Professionals has introduced a simplified advertising package in the matches, to target emerging entrepreneurs, the electronic ticketing system, and accompanying events that enhance the bringing of new sponsors to the association.

The report examined the efforts made by the association in the past, to motivate clubs and support the expansion of its fan base, as eight million dirhams were allocated to support marketing initiatives, which saw motivational awards for fans in all matches, withdrawals of 30 cars during the matches of the Arab Gulf League in its current version, and to enhance the experience Day of the match with various activities, in addition to the community initiatives that were launched in a round of the league rounds.

The increase in TV viewership jumped from 3.5 million people in the 2016-2017 season to 18 million last season, and the production and distribution of TV programs around the world in the Arab Gulf League in both Arabic and English contributed to the follow-up volume reaching 128 million views. A report of the Professional Football League League stated that the association sought to establish a promotional campaign targeting four million and 100,000 people residing in the country to promote local competitions, as well as an interactive campaign for schools targeting 30 thousand students, and other mobile activities over 160 days, in all emirates The country, with a total attendance of 50,000 people.

The report stressed that the association's endeavors to promote local competitions have contributed to 76,000 interactions per month reaching social media.
