Swedish major clubs are against VAR

The VAR video surveillance system is a well-debated topic in football.

In Sweden, the system has not yet been introduced, and if the big clubs' supporters decide, it will not.

Earlier this week, AIK's annual meeting voted through a motion that AIK should work actively towards the introduction of VAR in the Allsvenskan, and yesterday, Malmö FF followed suit at their annual meeting.

- The format is not broken, do not try to fix it, says Olof Hellgren, one of the people behind the exercise, to Fotboll Skåne.

A similar motion has been submitted to Hammarby IF for their annual meeting.

Right now, the interest organization Sef is conducting an investigation into the matter.
