Joakim Noah, who has not played in the NBA for almost a year, will soon find the prosecution which is more in a team with title ambitions, since the Los Angeles Clippers will hire him for ten days, several media said on Friday .

The Clippers are signing free agent center Joakim Noah, league sources tell ESPN. Noah, a two-time All-Star, is expected to join the team next week.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Noah, currently a 35-year-old free agent, will officially join the Californian team starting next week. He will sign a ten-day contract, says Sam Charania (The Athletic), also very knowledgeable on the issue of transfers.

Such a contract allows the club which hires a player to remain there after ten days if he is not satisfied with his performance. Conversely, if things go well, this contract can be extended until the end of the season. Currently, the Clippers (43-19) are 2nd in the Western conference behind the Lakers. They are among the favorites for the NBA title, along with Milwaukee, the overwhelming leader of the Eastern conference.

Joakim Noah's last game was March 23, 2019, when he was playing for Memphis against Minnesota. Last season, he played 42 games with the Grizzlies, scoring 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists in an average of 16.5 minutes.
