It was on Thursday that the message came that the municipality of Oslo would shut down the ski area for the public because of the corona virus.

"We are particularly concerned about the situation with large crowds on the subway, combined with previous experiences of high alcohol consumption among visitors," said Oslo Municipality's Svein Lyngroth in a press release then.

Lyngroth's concern seems to have come true. Despite the ban, several people still went to the forests outside Oslo on Saturday - and have partyed in connection with the ladies' three miles.

Police in Oslo announce that over 100 drunken youths are staying around the tracks.

"Several of them are unable to take care of themselves and are assisted by the Red Cross and the police," police wrote on Twitter.

The annual ski weekend in Holmenkollen is characterized by recurrence of disturbance problems and fill with the spectators.
