Long ahead, England finally narrowly won against Wales (33-30), Saturday, for the 4th day of the VI Nations Tournament 2020. The XV de la Rose retains a chance of final victory, despite the uncertainty linked to the coronavirus threat.

To win, the English will have to rely on a false move by the French, either in Scotland this Sunday at 4 p.m., or against Ireland at home on the last day. Above all, they will have to wait to see if and when their last day's match could take place in Rome against Italy, the country most affected by the virus.

A baroud for not much

Thanks to a final rush at 15 against 13, after a yellow card against Ellis Genge (72nd) and a red for top tackle by Manu Tuilagi (74th), the Welsh, defending champions and grand slam, managed to snatch a point defensive bonus almost unexpected in view of the physiognomy of the match for 70 minutes.

Anthony Watson crossed the end line in the 4th minute, before Elliot Daly imitated him in the 32nd, giving England a comfortable mattress at break (20-9).

Jason Tipuric then gave hope to the Red Devils from the start of the second act, before Manu Tuilagi allowed the English to take off (33-16, 61st). It was without counting on the baroud of the Welsh (test of Dan Biggar in the 78th, then of Tipuric, again him, in the stops of play).

In the end, it was the third straight loss in the Leek XV Tournament. A first since 2007.
