Charlotte Kalla has had a tough season and struggled to find form.

But in Holmenkollen, the 32-year-old hit with his best result in the World Cup in almost a year's time.

A year ago, she was fifth on the same track and today there was a stick up. Behind winning Frida Karlsson, second Therese Johaug and Ebba Andersson she became four.

Afterwards, Cold was radiantly happy.

"I really take this forward with me," she tells SVT Sport.

Ebba revealed the winner

What the veteran didn't know when she crossed the finish line was that countryman Frida Karlsson won.

- I didn't think she won. It feels unreal. Super cool that Frida takes this home. Holmenkolllen is historic land and I know how I felt when I was second here the first time and now she goes and wins.

When did you notice that Frida won?

- Now that we change Ebba comes in and says "cool that we will be one, three and four." What a day, she says.

In the Winter Studio, Kalla was widely praised by expert Johanna Ojala.

- A Charlotte Kalla who pulls away from the rest we have not seen this season. An energy in the ride that made me incredibly happy to see, says Ojala.
