The ski season concludes with a sprint tour in Quebec City and Minneapolis and partly distance competitions in Canmore on March 14-22.

“This season has been special with many tours where the final sprint tour is one of the winter's highlights for many sprinters. Three competitions with many world cup points are at stake, ”says men's coach Fredrik Uusitalo in a press release.

And Swedish expectations are high. Linn Svahn leads the Sprint World Cup and Jonna Sundling is second after her win in Drammen on Wednesday. Also included in the blue-yellow squad are the gold and silver medalists in the sprint from the U23 World Cup - Emma Ribom and Johanna Hagström.

"We look forward to the competitions where we have the women's top match in the sprint cup," says women's trainer Stefan Thomson.

On the men's side, Teodor makes his last World Cup competitions in North America before finishing his World Cup career.

After the sprint tour, the Swedish squad is partially replaced and the World Cup continues with distance races in Canmore, Canada.

Among the women's skiers is Ebba Andersson, double gold medalist at the U23 World Cup this week and who also stood for a strong race in the World Cup last weekend when she pressed Therese Johaug in Lahti. Frida Karlsson is also part of the team that travels to North America.
