On the morning of February 22, at the World Championships in Anterselva, Italian police raided the rooms of Loginov and Kasperovich. A mobile phone and laptop were seized from the athlete. On the night of February 22-23, before the mass start race, the police returned to the biathlete to sign the protocol. A criminal case was opened against Loginov and his coach.
Police checked Loginov and Kasperovich after a letter from Sarah Fussek-Hakkarainen, Acting Anti-Doping Manager of the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
