According to officials of the tournament, on the 2nd day before the opening, the Qatar government and the International Table Tennis Federation conducted PCR tests on about 80 players and staff from five countries and regions in Japan, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong and Egypt. about it.

No players or staff gave a positive result in the test, so the tournament is scheduled to start on the 3rd.
