With eleven rounds of the basic series, the point difference between the two Modo and the third Timrå was twelve points and it looked to be Blörklöven-Modo in the all-Swedish final.

But then Timrå's long pick-up and Modo's decay began and before today's match they were both on the same score.

With Modo driving over Tingsryd, Timrå needed at least to score the jump to be alive before the final round.

But Björklöven, who is already clear series winners and "nothing" to play for, managed his positions. When William Eriksson made 4-1 in the beginning of the third period it looked clear.

But Timrå's big point hero, Jonathan Dahlén, laid the groundwork for the start of the pickup with his 35th goal of the match. Filip Lander then did 3-4 and when Cannata in the leaf goal was overplayed, Westerlund had the opportunity to put the puck into an open goal, though from a long distance, but the leaves goal keeper over and saved the goal.

Jonathan Dahlén, who is now two points from hitting Pär Arlbrandt's scoring record, also got the chance to acknowledge in the end but Cannata continued to fall.
