It is difficult to know if it is the year 2020 or 2014 right now. Nine straight wins before the meeting with Leksand, and directly in the match introduction, the home team took command. After ten minutes, Oscar Möller and Joakim Lindström had bombed in a puck each, and the Skellefteå audience had wonderful 2014 vibes.

But it would quickly become a smooth match again. From cheering to 3-0, it was instead a match penalty for head tackle Andreas Wingerli, who drove on Leksands goalkeeper Janne Juvonen in the shotgun moment.

And it turned out to be a costly expulsion, because Leksand would be able to confirm the match with two quick goals. But Skellefteå would continue to show class, and before period break Robin Alvarez had put 3-2 to Skellefteå.

In the second period, goals continued to flow into the Leksandskassen. Three goals for the home team that with a 6-2 lead before the final period could close the game completely, and eventually won with 8-2.
