It was during Wednesday's match against Malmö that it got really annoyed during the end of the middle period. Linköping's Sam Lofquist got angry at Malmö's Emil Sylvegård in connection with a blowout.
This led to the LHC player pushing a lineman. Lofquist received a match penalty and was regretful afterwards.

- I'm ashamed and very sorry for what I did. It must never happen.

Now comes the penalty from the Disciplinary Committee: Five players' suspension and SEK 17 750 in fines.

"The Board finds that it is ruled that Samuel Lofquist was guilty of physical abuse of officials. The wrongdoing should cause a suspension. The behavior of physically giving up on a judge in this way is completely unacceptable and should lead to a palpable penalty. The duration of the suspension is determined at a time that is deemed to correspond to five matches including the automatic suspension resulting from a match penalty. He shall also pay a fine of the amount stated in the decision ”.
