The UAE Doping Inspection Committee announced the launch of the "mobile bus" service to examine doping, starting today, in the City Walk area in Dubai, on the sidelines of the Emirates Tawaf 2020, which is taking place in its fourth phase today.

The bus’s work is not only concerned with doping test, it will also serve as a mobile educational unit to provide the required awareness to athletes about the harms of doping and how to combat it, as well as providing information about athletes ’rights and examination steps.

The "mobile bus" is part of the development plans of the National Anti-Doping Committee, which will be implemented during the next three years on the ground, to serve athletes and championships hosted by the UAE.

The head of the National Anti-Doping Committee, Dr. Rima Al-Hosani, said in a press statement: "The bus is a room arranged according to international standards for doping tests, to ensure that the doping test is performed for athletes in the fullest manner, and in a high privacy for athletes." She pointed out that the "mobile bus" ends after the difficulties they face in some clubs that do not have private rooms to check doping.
