Briton Tyson Fury, who then won the title match on the technical knockout in the seventh round, entered the ring first.

Or walked and walked.

Dressed to a king and with a crown on his head he was carried into a great throne.

Wilder, who lost his master belt, then walked slowly, slowly toward the ring, in a glitzy and lavish outfit reminiscent of villainous ninja Shredder from the Turtles stories. Or maybe a character from the TV series Power Rangers.

In an interview with US TMZ before the match, Wilder said he paid $ 40,000 (almost $ 400,000) for the equipment.

- I want to give the fans something they can remember me for. Not just my many knockout wins, but something outside of what's happening in the ring, Wilder said.

- Paying $ 40,000 now is worth it because in the end, my boxing career will generate a damn lot of money.

The loss to Fury tonight was Wilder's first in his career after 42 wins and a draw. Fury remains unbeaten after 31 games and won the prestigious heavyweight WBC belt tonight.
