Charlotte Kalla is having the heaviest season of her career. She has only finished in the top ten in three individual World Cup competitions this season, and has not been among the top five ever.

One who suffers with her is the former Norwegian star, Marit Björgen.

- It's very tough to see when Charlotte wears competition after race. You recognize, that feeling “What's wrong? What could I have done differently ”There is no simple question, there is no fact. It is frustrating, you want to try and see if it works next time, she tells SVT Sport, and continues:

- So it's been tough to look at it. So I hope Charlotte manages to figure it out and finds motivation to continue over the next season.

"Must get more nations"

Björgen also agrees with the many who see it as a problem that there is such a large Norwegian dominance in the sport right now.

- It is clear: In order to keep up the interest in the sport, we must get more nations up there and even more excitement.
