Armand Duplantis made three good attempts in Clermont-Ferrand at the world record high 6.19. Although there was no new record, he was still happy when SVT Sport met him.
- It was a good try and it feels like I have the height in me. It was a good try, but not perfect. Little details were missing. But I am satisfied and it has been a good way to start a season by setting two world records, says Armand Duplantis to SVT Sport after the competition.

The competition in France was a pure pole vault where home son Renaud Lavillenie had invited the best in the world.
- It was fantastic because it's so family here and the audience was really crazy. It gave so much energy and this is one of the most fun competitions of the season
After two world records indoors, a training period is now waiting for Armand Duplantis.
- It is outdoors that has to be the best, and I will try to be that.
