Al Ain reached the semi-finals of the President’s Cup of Football, after defeating Al Wasl yesterday in an exciting match, which brought them together at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital Abu Dhabi, and witnessed 11 goals and ended with Al Ain victory 6-5.

The first half ended with a 2-2 draw, as Al Ain scored through the Congolese player, Kudjo Lapa, "4 and 37", while Brazilian Al-Welton scored "9", and Ghanaian George Duabing "45 + 2".

In the second half, the emperor managed to advance twice, through Lima «56» and George Duabing «68», while Lapa scored two more goals for the leader «73 and 84», to reach his goals in the match to «Super Hattrick», and Caio scored two goals for Al Ain «60 and 66 Before Lima scored the fifth goal of Al-Wasl from the penalty kick, "90 + 7".

Al-Ain found his easy way to achieve victory, as he managed early to score the first goal via Lapa, taking advantage of a longitudinal ball played by a Shiotani, hitting the Al Wasl defense, and dodging the goalkeeper before he put the ball into the net.

However, Al-Wasl showed a strong reaction after the goal, and Brazilian Wilton almost did it from a ball in a confrontation with the goalkeeper, which he did not exploit in an ideal way.

Wilton returned to give the emperor the equalizer, taking advantage of a gag by defender Mohamed Shaker, and deposited the ball to the right of the goalkeeper, before returning "the mouse" and confirming the legitimacy of the goal.

Attempts from both teams to realize the goal of progress continued, as Lapa managed to score again from Gojak's cross, but the meeting’s ruling had another decision, and he canceled the goal because of an error in the interest of goalkeeper Hamid Abdullah «16».

The danger of Al-Wasl was demonstrated by the counterattacks, one of which posed a real threat to Al-Ain’s goal when Wilton was alone, but he finally shot near the left post (27).

In the same way, Lima wasted the opportunity to advance over his team from a ball through which he was in a confrontation with the goalkeeper, but toppled her over the bar "28".

Al-Wasl defender Lucas Galvao, referee Ammar Al-Junaibi, was forced to resort to video technology, after Al Ain players demanded a penalty kick as a result of the ball touching the hand of the Brazilian player, to make sure of the whistle the correctness of the error and a penalty was successfully executed by Lapa.

Al Wasl refused to return to the changing room, defeated, and he leveled through George Dwapeng with a header.

The emperor pressed in the second half, and obtained a penalty, including the third goal, after Ali Saleh was blocked, to settle Lima in the upper left corner.

However, Al-Wasl's lead did not last long, as Caio managed to return the match to the starting point, scoring the equalizer from a header that deceived the goalkeeper and settled to his right.

The goals rolled in the match, and this time it was in the interest of Al Wasl, to whom progress was made by defender George Duabing, with a header that was raised high and deposited to the left of the goalkeeper.

The madness of the match continued, as Caio managed again to equalize after just two minutes of a ball played by Bandar Al-Ahbabi, kidnapped by Salem Al-Azizi, and turned it into the goal amid a protest from Al-Wasl coach, Roman Regcam, who was removed from the match for obtaining the red card.

Lapa returned to put his mark back on the Emperor's net, from a ball placed in his head in a difficult position that passed over the guard.

Lapa eliminated the match by scoring the sixth goal of the penalty kick, from a mistake obtained by defender George Duabing, and successfully placed it in the goal, and in time, instead of wasted, Lima scored the fifth goal of Al Wasl penalty kick, to end the match with Al Ain victory 6-5.
