Former FIFA Secretary-General Jerome Valce is accused of accepting bribes and falsifying documents, according to the Office of the Auditor General.
It is as CEO of Qatar-owned broadcaster BeIN Sport that Al-Khelaifi is prosecuted for bribes in connection with broadcast rights to the Soccer World Cup and the Confederations Cup, according to Swiss authorities. According to Reuters, Al-Khelaifi and a third businessman are urging Valcke to commit the crimes.
It was during 2017 that the Swiss mining authorities started an investigation against Jerome Valcke and Nasser Al-Khelaifi when, among other things, the BeIN Sports office in Paris was searched by the municipalities.
The defendants then denied the suspicions that were being made.
