Racing Point showed its new car on Monday as one of the last teams in Formula 1. Most striking is the prominent mention of the new title sponsor BWT.
The official name of the team will be BWT Racing Point F1 Team. The Austrian water technology company succeeds Sportpresa gambling office as title sponsor. The old name giver has completely disappeared as a sponsor name on the new car.
Racing Point team boss Otmar Szafnauer is delighted with the new title sponsor. "We have had a successful partnership with BWT since 2017. We are therefore very happy that we can now also welcome them as title sponsors."
The new car was unveiled at Mondsee, at the sponsor's headquarters. Just like last year, the Mexican Sergio Pérez and the Canadian Lance Stroll form the racing duo.
Apart from the large letters of BWT on the chassis, little has changed on the car. Compared to 2019, the nose of the RP20 is slightly narrower and the sidepods of the car, which include the cooling, are slightly tighter than before.

Earlier on Monday, Williams already unveiled his new car. Only Alfa Romeo and Haas have not yet done so, although those teams have already released some photos.
On Wednesday at the first test day at the Barcelona circuit, these two teams will officially present their cars. The new Formula 1 season starts on March 15 with the Australian Grand Prix.
