Anna Swenn Larsson has longed for a victory in the slalom's World Cup. The season's results for her part are four, third, fifth and second as well as a harvest.

After today's first ride in the Slovenian Kranjska Gora, Anna Swenn Larsson now has a stroke - after a really good time.

The Swede had starting number five, stood for a stable ride and went in goal as one, as much as 50 hundredths ahead of the Norwegian, Nina Haver-Löseth.

- It's fun to see a "one", you haven't done that many times. It was a very good constant ride that was relatively clean, says Anna Swenn Larsson to SVT.

- It was so nice. I think I got off to a good start from the start.

You are 92 hundredths ahead of Petra Vlhova (four), how does it feel?
- It's fun to feel like you're in. I have not been in this situation before. I'll just focus on my riding.

SVT expert Pernilla Wiberg:

- I'm really impressed with Anna's steep above all.

Good memories from the slopes

Three is Wendy Holdener, +0.61. Other Swedes; Emelie Wikström is in sixth place (+1.20), Magdalena Fjällström is in place 13 and Sara Hector has a 22.a.

From a Swedish point of view you have nice memories from the slopes. Two years ago, Frida Hansdotter came second and three Swedes were top ten.
Four years earlier, the time before Swedes competed here, Hansdotter won and there were a total of three Swedes in the top 6.

The second race starts at 13.40.
