The Alpine World Cup in Åre was not a financial success that was expected. Instead of a profit of SEK 50 million, there was a big loss of SEK 30 million. Something that CEO Niklas Carlsson now explains in the winter studio. - We made investments that were large and ambitious, but they were also expensive, he says.
Even before the championship it was clear that it was not possible to make a big profit that they had expected.
- Then we thought 40 million, we thought that the days before the World Cup. Then we noticed that there was a counting error in the excel budget of ten million, says Carlsson.
