Over the course of a week, Armand Duplantis has set two world records at the age of 20.

- What distinguishes "Mondo" (Armand Duplantis) is that he is so young. It's really so well-known to be good so early. Since he has such a low level and such potential that the athletics world has not seen since Usain Bolt. So goes the general opinion. He is already the absolute hottest name in athletics, no one can compete with him, says Armand Duplanti's agent Daniel Wessfeldt.

What does this mean financially?

- The agreements are built that you never sit with the beard in the mailbox. As the successes increase, the base amount increases and of course there are substantial bonuses for a world record in athletics. Duplanti's deal also grows dramatically as he sets the world record.

Million rain over "Mondo"

Armand Duplantis received almost SEK 290,000 in prize money for the world record in Glasgow, and according to Sportbladet it was a total of an environmental amount for the world record in Poland last week. In outdoor competitions, the International Athletics Association pays SEK 480,000 for world records.

"He will now receive starting money that corresponds to the highest paid athlete in the world," says Wessfeldt, who previously worked with Russian pole vault Jelena Isinbajeva.

- But this guy has even more charisma and he just goes home. Duplantis has this American self-confidence and in addition he is European and Swedish. A better combination is not possible. The economy will not be a problem.
