Before the loss to Skellefteå, the series two Färjestad had twelve straight matches with points in. Already tonight, Färjestad had a chance to start again on a new home suite when Brynäs waited in the late evening match.

The first period became speechless and after half the second period the away team Brynäs took the lead with a shot from blue from JVM-back Victor Söderström. Before the break, however, Färjestad managed to level to 1-1 through Jonathon Blum.

And after just 16 seconds in the third period, Färjestad took the lead to 2-1 through the national team center Linus Johansson. The match-winning goal made another national team center in Gustav Rydahl who put the 3-1 puck. Shortly thereafter, however, Marcus Björk reduced with a powerful back shot that meant 3-2.

However, Färjestad eventually won 5-2 after Victor Ejdsell and Sebastian Erixon scored in the open box.

This season, the merited goalkeeper has had to stand back for young goalkeeper Arvid Holm.
