Angels Otani free batting with new form February 14 9:04

Angels of the Major League, Angels Shohei Ohtani, did free batting for the first time on September 13 after having had a left knee surgery last September, and showed a new form to cross the fence.

Otani aims to return to the pitcher from the right elbow surgery for his adult this season, and to play with a two-sword style of throwing. Otani also had an operation on his left knee last September, and on his second day of camp in Arizona, he performed his first free batting after surgery.

Otani of the left batter was a batting form that took timing without raising the right foot in the first and second years of the adult big league, but in the third year, the right foot raised about 10 cm and a new form to step on I am trying.

Ohtani swinged 25 times with the new form, and five hit the fence. Some hits could easily go over the center fence with a flight distance of 130 meters or more, and the new form showed strength.

Otani also played catch ball, threw 60 balls, and practiced as a two-sword style for two consecutive days.

After talking about his batting practice for the first time in five months after surgery on his left knee, Otani said, "I felt that my body hit without any problem. It was good for the first time." As for the form, he said, "I think there are many ways to study by hitting in various ways, so I hope we can improve it."
