On Thursday, the Biathlon World Cup starts in Italian Antholz. The upload has been anything but good for the Norwegian medal jump Marte Olsbu Røiseland.

The 29-year-old has had problems with the rifle. She tells NRK that a shooting series takes about 50 seconds, ie twice as long as it usually does.

- It's hopeless. This is not possible, she tells NRK.

Cried at the training

The trainers go through the rifle thoroughly. Next to it stands Marte Olsbu Røiseland and is teary-eyed.

- I don't know what to say. It's frustrating, it's not working for me right now. So I hope they can fix it, and I'm glad it's not me to solve it, she tells NRK.

She doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

According to NRK, the coaches tried to fix the weapon, but after three hours they gave up and drove to Germany.

Røiseland is in seventh place in the overall World Cup and is one of Hanna Öberg's biggest competitors.
