La Gazzetta dello Sport gives the Swede the highest rating of the Milan players on the grounds that he is constantly worried about the defenders in Inter and that it is difficult to ask for more after a week where he could not train for full physical reasons.

They also give him his own side article after the match. There they write that Zlatan at San Siro with Inter as an opponent is a guarantee that he will score goals. They also note that his goal made him the oldest goal scorer ever in a Milan derby, 38 years and 129 days old. He takes over the record from Nils Liedholm who was 38 years and 43 days old when he made his record goal.

Monumental Ibrahimovic

Another Italian newspaper, Corriere dello Sport, describes Milan's first half as "drawn by a monumental Ibrahimovic". But they also note that the team is too dependent on the Swede and when his performance drops in the second half, the team also loses.

In tuttosport, Zlatan is both "super Ibrahimovich" and "King Ibrahimovic". There they also write that San Siro was his during the first half.
