The Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee, Muhammad Bin Sulayem, spoke about the issue of naturalization of athletes, in his first statements after his appointment as Secretary-General of the Council to succeed Talal Al-Shanqeeti.
Bin Sulayem said in press statements, "The decision is in the hands of the leadership, and I cannot talk about that. The most important thing for us is that the focus is primarily on Emirati cadres, but if we need expertise from abroad we will seek help from it, and in the matter of naturalization this file will not be Open, according to what the leadership sees. "
