A few days ago, Three Kronors Federation captain Johan Garpenlöv presented the squad for the Euro Hockey Tour tournament to be played in the Globe between 6 and 9 February. Mario Kempe, everyday in CSKA Moscow, was in the squad. But there will be no game for the KHL player.

Three Kronor has announced on Twitter that Kempe is leaving the squad. The reason is unclear. But Kempe is replaced by Malmö's Emil Sylvegård.

Kempe has had a great season with CSKA Moscow. The 31-year-old has accounted for 13 points in 19 matches so far.

In the Euro Hockey Tour, Sweden plays against the Czech Republic, Russia and Finland.
