Frida Karlsson, 20, competed in the Ruka World Cup last year, but was stopped in early December after a planned health check carried out by the federation's doctors. The control showed results that prevented Frida Karlsson from competing.

Later, the ski association's associate director Ola Strömberg told SVT Sport that it was a lack of nutrition.

But exactly what it is about, Frida Karlsson wants to leave unsaid.

"It's too personal, too much on the personal level," she told Aftonbladet.

After missing the Tour de Ski, among other things, and not competing since December 1, Frida Karlsson is now allowed to return to the racetrack.

She is now in the squad, among the national riders, for the World Cup in Falun next weekend.

- Frida has recovered well after a period of less stress in training and no competition. She is now back in phase and can compete again, which feels very fun and exciting, says national team coach Stefan Thomson, in a press release.

Viktor Thorn is also back in the squad. Calle Halfvarsson also looks set to start.
