Great first for two "bizuts". Just convened for the first time in the XV of France for the Six Nations tournament, the back Anthony Bouthier and the pillar Mohamed Haouas will be tenured for the opening match against England, Sunday at the Stade de France, Blues coach Fabien Galthié announced Thursday, January 30, at a press conference.

The Montpellier Bouthier and Haouas will find a skeleton present at the Mondial-2019 in Japan, where Captain Charles Ollivon (26 years old, 11 selections) but also the hinge 100% Stade Toulouse, trained by Antoine Dupont (23 years old, 20 selections) ) at the scrum half position and Romain Ntamack (20, 12 caps) at the opening.

There are, in total, seven changes from the team that lost in the quarterfinals to Wales, including the entire front row. And twelve "survivors" from Japan on the scoresheet.

Bouthier and Haouas, never before called up for the French team, have notably ruled out competition from Toulousain Thomas Ramos or Lyonnais Demba Bamba, after two weeks of "high intensity" preparation in Nice, to offer themselves a baptism of fire against the vice world champions.

Thomas back

A great story for the Montpellier duo, pushed by club coach Xavier Garbajosa: Bouthier (27) was a bricklayer recently and had to go through the 3rd division and the Pro D2 at Vannes before discovering the Top 14 this year ; Haouas (25) got into trouble with the law when he was young but won the MHR thanks to his slaughter and his movements.

On the front line, Haouas will be accompanied by Toulousains Julien Marchand and Cyril Baille. Marchand, captain in club, will thus know his first tenure, a year and a day since his serious knee injury against Wales, in the Tournament.

In the back lines, Racingman Teddy Thomas, who has not played in selection for more than a year, and Clermontois Damian Penaud supervise defense captain Gaël Fickou (25, 51 selections) and dynamiter Virimi Vakatawa (27 years old, 21 selections).

Jean-Baptiste Gros, Uini Atonio, Cyril Cazeaux, Arthur Vincent and Thomas Ramos, remain in reserve in the event of injury.

• The starting XV against England: Bouthier - Thomas, Fickou, Vakatawa, Penaud - (o) Ntamack, (m) Dupont - Ollivon (cap.), Alldritt, Cros - Willemse, B. Le Roux - Haouas, Marchand, Baille

Substitutes: Mauvaka, Poirot, Bamba, Palu, Woki, Serin, Jalibert, Rattez

Reservists: Gros, Atonio, Cazeaux, Vincent, Ramos
