The Japan Sumo Association held a numbering meeting in spring in Osaka at the Kokugikan in Ryogoku in March, and decided to promote the 10-car Midori Fuji in the Isegahama room.

Midori Fuji is 23 years old from Shizuoka Prefecture. I dropped out of Kinki University, a student sumo wrestler, and entered the Isegahama room, where I took the first ring in the autumn of 2016.

Despite his height of 1 meter and height of 71 cm and weight of about 100 kg, he was the winner of the second place under the eastern curtain, winning 5-2 in the first place.

In addition, the return of Haruka Wakamoto in the Arashio room, Mt. Shirataka in the Takadagawa room, the sea in Chiyo in the Kuju room, and Mt. Akise in the Kise room have been decided.

The grand sumo spring place will celebrate its first day on March 8 at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium.
