Disgruntled Manchester United supporters wrote graffiti on Tuesday night's home of Ed Woodward, vice president of the Manchester club held responsible for ManU's sports setbacks. The supporters, masked and part of a group of twenty fans according to the daily newspaper Daily Mirror , also launched a fireworks display in the direction of the leader's house.
Manchester United said in a statement that Manchester police were trying to identify the perpetrators. "We know that the world of football will be behind us, while the police are investigating after these unjustifiable acts," said the "Red Devils".

“Anyone found guilty of criminal acts or of having entered this property will be banned for life from the stadium by our club and will be liable to prosecution. It is one thing for supporters to express their opinions, it is another to cause damage and endanger the lives of others, it is inexcusable, "warned the club.
Manchester United are 5th in the Premier League with 34 points, 33 less than the leader, Liverpool. Supporters regularly insult Woodward during home matches. They criticize their leaders for favoring financial results and for sacrificing sporting ambitions, by giving up making acquisitions of renowned players.
