The table sailor Sävehof really needed a win to hook Höör and Skuru in the top, but Önnered wanted differently.
The match was long even, but with just over ten minutes left Maja Eriksson put three balls and Anna Bardi's two when the home team moved. Another big factor in the win was Cornelia Hermansson's big play between the posts.
Bardis and Eriksson also scored the most goals with six hits each.
The victory was Önnered's fifth in SHE this season and it was very important as they now take up the playoffs. For Sävehof, the distance is now six points up to Skuru in second place.
