Myhrer who drove out in Wengen failed even when he was the first rider out in Kitzbühel. Tonight there was a chance for revenge as he set out on the slope in Schladming. However, the Swede did not get what he wanted.

- Right now I feel quite disappointed had hoped for much more than this. The speed is not there simply, one must hope it will be a second ride, says André Myhrer to SVT Sport.

- Myhrer comes a bit from the canes and waits. He gets no real flow and gets a lot of small drops on the way down, says SVT's expert Tobias Hellman.

Although Myhrer is just under two seconds ahead of leading Marco Schwarz, expert Hellman believes in a second ride. A clearly disappointed Myhrer is not as hopeful.

- Hard to go for a win today, but we'll see what happens, says Myhrer.

Detached for Jakobsen

Kristoffer Jakobsen, who also had a tough time and who missed the second race last in Kitzbühel, got a better first ride tonight.

- Today I decided to drive a little more on the border. It was a miss in the beginning but I am happy with the effort. I thought that either it will be a good placement in the first ride or I will leave, says Jakobsen.

- This is the stable ride you want to see and now he gets a payout as well, says Hellman after Jakobsen took in 1.43 after Schwarz.

When more than 30 riders descend, Jakobsen is in eleventh place. Myhrer looks to pass on to the second ride.

The second ride runs at 20.30 in SVT24 and SVT Play.
