Lars Bryggman broke the deadlock halfway into the first period in game five against four. But afterwards, goal drought for both teams followed when goalkeepers Oscar Alsenfelt (Malmö) and Samuel Ersson (Brynäs) lined up rescues.

Above all, Alsenfelt stood out with 15 rescues in the second period.

And the last act loosened it purposefully for Malmö.

Greatly.

With ten minutes left to play, the team's points king Fredrik Händemark ruled 2-0 at the far post on a nice pass from Niklas Arell. Johan Olofsson increased to 3-0 after being released by Christoffer Forsberg and Jesper Jensen sent 4-0 in the empty box. But not even where the home team was finished. Axel Wemmenborn then set the final score 5-0 with half a minute left.

Oscar Alsenfelt kept zero and became one of Malmö's big match heroes. He managed to stop the Gävlelaget's hot first chain with Anton Rödin, Nicklas Danielsson and Greg Scott who together accounted for 19 points in the last five matches.

The victory was Malmö's third in four games against Brynäs this season.
