China's corona virus has quarantined Chinese authorities. Now it has consequences for the imminent Olympic qualification for the ladies in basketball.
Due to the outbreak, group four with China, Spain, UK and South Korea is now moving from Foshan to Serbian Belgrade.
"After carefully evaluating the development of the Coronavirus outbreak and taking into account the safety of the players, FIBA has decided to move the tournament to Belgrade where the Olympic qualifier will now be played instead," the International Basketball Association writes in a statement.
Sweden's group, with Belgium, Canada and Japan, is played in Belgian Ostend.
