Kitzbühel is not a favorite hill for André Myhrer who has been six at his best. The first day of the day contained a couple of misses and he went in at 52.30.

Myhrer had the starting number one and he didn't have to keep the lead for very long. For starting number two, Daniel Yule was 1.48 seconds faster than Myhrer.

- It's a big difference, unfortunately, right now. Myhrer has this movement in the ride itself, and he has shown that earlier this season. But right now the ride is not quite there, says SVT Sports expert Pernilla Wiberg.

The first slalom gap is ongoing and Daniel Yule continues to lead. Kristoffer Jakobsen starts at number 24.
