A press statement from the Football Association said: “The General Secretariat of the Football Association, in coordination with the Competitions Committee, finalized the arrangements for the ceremony of the drawing ceremony for the members of the Transitional Committee and a number of former stars and the media, along with representatives of the qualified clubs, namely: Al Ain, Baniyas, Sharjah Al Dhafra, Kalba Union, Al Ahly Youth, Al Wasl, Al Jazeera ».
The quarter-final matches will be held on February 21 and 22, while the semi-final matches will be held on March 10, and the final match date will be decided later.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Football Association, Mohamed Al Dhaheri, confirmed in press statements that: “The system for making lots after the round of 16 and the eight rounds gives the competition more fun and excitement among the competing clubs, especially after the experiment achieved a great success since its application in the season before last” .
