Sjöström, who won the 50 meter butterfly on Friday, started the afternoon's final pass with a second on the 50 meter back in time 28.21. A tenth behind victorious Georgia Davies, UK.

At 100 butterfly it was victory for Sjöström. With the time 56.71, the Swedish world star broke his previous competition record at the distance in the Euro Meet (56.77 from 2018). She was far from her own world record in the distance (55.48 from the 2016 Olympics) but still happy.

"Given that it's only January, I'm really happy with this time," says Sarah Sjöström, who has been at training camp in South Africa for the week's competitions, to Dagens Nyheter.

Sjöström's second race victory for the day came at 50 freely when she won 24.14 (personal record 23.67). On Sunday, the Euro Meet ends, Sjöström then swims 100 freely.
