Yakult Draft 1st place Okukawa camp starts 2 army January 23 18:44

Professional baseball Yakult coaches and coaches held a meeting in Tokyo, and the 1st draft rookie Yasunobu Okukawa decided to start a camp with two troops next month.

On August 23, Yakult held a meeting at the baseball team office in Tokyo with a team of leaders and staff, including director Shingo Takatsu, to discuss the distribution of camp members starting next month.

Among them, Rookie Okukawa, the first draft from Ishikawa and Seiryo High School, who won second place in Koshien last summer, has been decided to participate in a two-armed camp in West City, Miyazaki Prefecture.

Due to slight inflammation of his right elbow, Okukawa has forgotten throwing practice in the newcomer's voluntary training in Saitama.

Mr. Takatsu said, "Okukawa has started the second army because he wants to take the members who can be thrown to one army. It would be good if you stepped and prepared for the throwing."

He further stated, "It is not realistic to call one army during February, as it is a North Row at this stage," and said that he would carefully coordinate the two armies through the camp.
