19-year-old Nikolaj Majorov looked pleased after the short program in the European Championships from Graz. He had every right to do so given that 74.39 became a prominent result that directly qualified him for the free program. This was also the best season.
Olympians Anita Östlund and Nikolaj Majorov are the big jumps for Swedish. But even 21-year-old Swede Illya Solomin competed today. However, he came just outside the top 24 who are allowed to compete in the free program. He was listed for 64.91 points.
