Prior to the meeting with Örebro, Rögle, which was initially the big sensation in SHL, had gone on three losses in a row.

But Rögleforward Leon Bristedt has always shown good form and produced - in eight of his nine recent matches he has scored. He has also found the goal in all three meetings with Örebro this season and on Saturday afternoon he was responsible for his 14th SHL meeting as well as an assist and climbing in the points league.

Rögle also started clearly, and after just over a quarter, the guests' hot forward Dominik Bokk pushed in the first goal after fine preparation by the chain mate Simon Ryfors.

Stick forward

And after almost half the match, Rögle's top formation with Daniel Zaar, Ted Brithén and Leon Bristedt stepped forward. First, Bristedt pressed in 2-0 when he arrived on a return after a game-reversal. And just minutes later, center Ted Brithén delivered the next puck from close range behind goalkeeper Dominik Furch in powerplay.

"We make a good away game, where we play tight and are first on the pucks," Leon Bristedt told C More after the second period.

- I think we play the kind of hockey that you have to do away with Örebro, he added.

Just over three minutes into the third period, Dominik Bokk set his second goal of the match and the German junior national team player has thus scored five goals in the last four matches.

Kovacs on the stand

Shortly thereafter, forward Ludvig Rensfeldt finally got a hole on Rögle's goalkeeper Roman Will when he set Örebro's first goal. And when just under four minutes remained, Shane Harper also pushed in 4-2 when he put the puck in the open cage after a return. But Rögles Simon Ryfors got the last word when he put 5-2 in the empty cage.

But closer than that, the home team did not come and Örebro's trend was broken after five straight wins.

On Thursday, a new home game awaits the nutritionists when the Luleå series comes to visit. Örebro's well-known star acquisition Robin Kovacs then makes an emotional debut directly against his old team - it will be sold out in the hall. From the stands he saw when Örebro fell towards Rögle.
