With his eighth place, IFK Umeå rider was the best of the Swedes on the women's ten kilometer classic in the Czech Nove Mesto.
Afterwards, it was a satisfied Lundgren who met SVT Sport in the mixed zone.
- It's a shame that I manage to do this race myself. I finished eighth in the mass start as well, but that was because I went with some others. This time I did it myself, she says.
What made it go so well today?
- I do not know. I've been pretty worried about how it would feel after the cold, but it just seems to have done me good.
